Lecteur d'empreintes digitales - 5V TTL (GT-511C1R) - SEN-13007. Description: Fingerprint scanners are awesome. Why use a key when you have one right at the tip of your finger? Unfortunately, they’re usually unreliable or difficult to implement. Well not anymore! We’ve found this great fingerprint module from ADH-Tech that communicates over TTL Serial so you can easily embed it into your next project. The module itself does all of the heavy lifting behind reading and identifying the fingerprints with an on-board optical sensor and 32-bit CPU. All you need to do is send it simple commands. This is the more economical version of the GT-511 which has a decreased memory capacity (compared to the GT-511C3). The module is small and easy to mount using two mounting tabs on the side of the sensor.

Note: The module does not come with a cable, check in the Recommended Products section for an appropriate one. Dimensions: 37 x 17 x 9.5 mm Features: Documents: How to make an Arduino from scratch. INTRODUCTION : Question what to make, how to make, but make you must ... After scrolling, searching, drooling over tons of Arduino tutorials..from making an led cube, to automating your home, giving life to a robot or making arduino powered drones... you, like me, must have felt that sudden urge as soon as you stumble upon an inspiring arduino tutorial, "Gosh,Wish I had one of these" or better still "I want to make one of these, Right Now! " and as soon as that feeling hits your head, your eyes start scurrying the required parts list and you see that name : ARDUINO : 25 Dollars and the cost of your project seems to skyrocket in many cases if other electronics are not as pricey( Yup, 25 dollars might be next to nothing for some, but yeah it is something!)

And what's more heartbreaking(Believe me, its true!) USB Extender. Electric Imp - Dev Kits. ControlBox: An internet-connected knob to control... anything! After putting together a half-dozen or so Electric Imp projects, it occurred to me that just because the imp is powerful enough to handle complicated tasks doesn't mean that making a simple thing internet-connected is any less powerful. This is one application that I find to be *very* powerful, particularly in the context of driving a simple physical interaction into "the cloud". It's a knob. A simple, familiar, analog control. Ok, so I'm a little ahead of myself: if you aren't yet familiar with the Electric Imp, it's time to check it out. The imp is a tiny, powerful, wifi-connected processor that looks like an SD card. Right now I have my copy of this demo hooked up to a fun little board I use to control some in-ceiling RGB lighting.

Fart Opéré à distance aléatoire Channel TV. OK, I know that sounds weird, but bear with me for a moment. My Pops really enjoys two things; 1) channel surfing and 2) farting. So one day I was over at and read about a guy who used his Arduino to turn a TV on and off with one of those brainwave reading headsets. Then later on that same day I was here at Instructables and a fellow had made an office chair that twitters every time he farted.

So, I got to thinking and decided to mash those two hacks into one remote that changes the TV to a random channel every time he tutes! (As an aside, I've done some internet searching and I think this might be the first flatulent operated remote control in the history of the world... *****VIDEO UPDATE***** You asked for it, here's a short video of the remote in action. Motion Sensor. Stickytape Capteurs. The materials used for the sensor are easy to buy online. They are also relatively cheap. I would guess that you could make up to 1,000 sensors for less than 30$When shipping to north America, I like to order from LessEMF because they stock all three essential items, are quick to ship and the prices are reasonable. Velostat is the brand name for an anti-static plastic manufactured by 3M.

The plastic bags in which sensitive electronic components are packaged are made of this material. It also runs under the names: anti-static, ex-static, carbon based plastic, ESD, Linqstat (made in china), Lagerbeutel (German for storage bags)& So you can also cut up one of those black plastic component bags if you have one at hand. But caution! Not all of them work! MATERIALS:- Any kind of stickytape will work, but it can be nice to use a duct (gaffer) tape for its flexibility and robustness. TOOLS:- Knife- Scissors- Random objects to handle stickytape. Force de bricolage résistance sensible (FSR) Technologie Electronique Instructables. PCB bricolage à l'aide de résine photosensible liquide. Emulsion photosensible liquide.

Lumi. DIY PCB using Liquid Photoresist. Make Flexible Circuit Boards Using A 3D Printer.

PLA, Nylon, ABS and most common filaments used for 3d printing do not stick to copper well enough to lay down a pattern that can be etched to create a circuit board. A fairly new elastomeric rubber filament is now available that sticks quite well to copper. It is called Ninjaflex. In fact, it sticks quite well to almost anything including acrylic, blue painters tape, and glass. A circuit board pattern can be drawn in a free program like 123D Design and then extruded to a thin thickness and saved as an STL file.

It can then be printed on top of a thin copper clad board or plated conductive fabric: step 1 pic. It can then be etched in the standard way with a Ferric Chloride solution. The circuit board shown was printed at standard breadboard and perfboard spacing of traces at .1" centers. If you want a thin and light circuit, this layout works well. Convert Battery Powered Electronics to Run on AC. It is very rare to find a power supply that will perfectly match an electrical appliance unless they are sold together as a pair. So we are going to have to modify our power adapter to match the circuit that we want to power. The easiest way to do this is to use a variable voltage regulator such as a LM317. The typical configuration for this kind of circuit is shown in the picture above. This regulator uses two resistors to set the output according to the formula: Vout=1.25*(1+R2/R1). For most applications this circuit can be simplified a little bit.

Depending on the power rating of your circuit, you may need to add a heat sink. Example: My son's swing normally runs on four C size batteries. Asymétriques condensateurs propulseurs: le Biefeld-Brown Effect. Fun circuits with conductive paint. This instructable will show you how to make simple fun electronic circuits. However my objective here is mostly to demonstrate how kids can have fun making and learning about electronics at the same time. I will be using a new product from a company called Bare Conductive that have recently released conductive paint that dries and forms circuits. The potential of this product is huge as you can use it on paper, card, clothing etc.

Card is the easiest material to use because you can push components through. Suitable designs will need to incorporate LEDs or other components depending how complex you want to made your designs. You can add 2 or 3 coin/button batteries to power you circuits. The Bare Conductive paint dries solid so it can be used to glue parts in place. Here are a few circuit ideas to help you out: LED with cardboard switch multiple LEDs with cardboard switch LEDs with resistors and switch Series LEDs Parallel LEDs Buzzer with a switch. DIY Solar Tracker. Introduction We aim to introduce young students to engineering and teach them about solar energy; by having them build a Helios as part of their curriculum.

There is an effort in engineering to push energy generation away from the use of fossil fuels and towards greener alternatives. One option for greener energy is to use a device called a heliostat, which uses a mirror to direct the sun’s light onto a target throughout the day. Such a device can be used for many applications, from concentrating solar energy onto the heat reservoir of a power plant to illuminating areas that are blocked from the sun. In addition to the number of uses of this technology, there is also a diverse range of structures that have been designed to enable solar tracking. Design Considerations To ensure that this project is widely dispersed, considerable effort went into designing the Helios to be built with common tools and cheap materials.
