Pillow Slip Covers

Simple Curtains

We sold, gave away, and donated a lot of things that just didn’t make the cut on our moving trailer going down south. Sad for our old stuff….but fabulous for me. I could now scour the town (okay, craigslist, goodwill and fabric stores) for new stuff. Pillow with Ties. I know, enough with the pillow tutorials right?

Pillow with Ties

Gathered Curtains with Ties

Remember the pillows I made here, here, and here? Well, I had to splash more of that fabric by Amy Butler up on my windows. Some serious vibrance. All neatly gathered below a panel of floppy ties at the top. Decorate with Plates. I had a great idea to put plates on my wall……to finish off our bedroom.

Decorate with Plates

So I bought three of them. In a nice and sassy cherry red, to place right above the headboard. While that project was stewing………I spray painted a picture frame cherry red, so that I could use my Bird Branch print from Fall Down Tree. The print was intended for my craft room… Well, or maybe the nursery… But the red on the frame was an exact match with my plates. So I quickly decided that the print was going to hang out in my room for a while.

Bathroom Decor. That bathroom needed more to brighten it up.

Those walls were painfully bare. And I was really diggin’ this fabric by Laura Gunn…..so I couldn’t help but use more of the collection. I attached this fabric panel along one end of each hand towel the same way I attached the fabric panel to the shower curtain. And I made a fabric wall hanging, the same way I made the wall hangings here. Covered cardboard storage boxes. Well, craft room stuff..

covered cardboard storage boxes

And it keeps growing and growing. So the time came to organize. And of course have a little fun with it. So…….I made these storage boxes completely out of old cardboard boxes covered with a little fabric on the front.. Craft Room, Part 2. Did you see Part 1 of my Craft Room?

Craft Room, Part 2

Good ‘ol cardboard… For today? Craft Room, Part 3 (dry erase picture frame) Do you remember this old post? (Sorry, not the best color, not the best picture…..and not my favorite framed dry erase board. But it worked.) I decided to find a new picture frame and make a new one. Mostly because I am a note and list person. Craft Room, Part 4.

I have been squirreled away down in my basement for several days, opening up boxes, purging junk, and finding new homes for all my craft/sewing stuff.

I haven’t been able to find my interfacing for weeks, or my white felt, or ugggh…..my serger thread. So, I finally forced myself to actually open up and clean out the 11 or so boxes that were just sitting in my craft room.
