Chapter Text Suitcases were ridiculous, Loki decided. Suitcases were ridiculous. Travelling itself was daft. Midgardian concepts of clothing were utterly backward; despite having invented washing machines, it still wasn't acceptable to wear the same outfit every day. Horses were extremely few and light years between; polluting metal cars were preferred. Housing was chosen for practicality, not splendour. On long trips, instead of using a reasonable means of transport, one must travel by "train" or "plane.

Chapter Text The Doctor twirled around the TARDIS control panel, pulling levers, pressing buttons, spinning wheels, honking horns. Rose laughed at a face he made at her. The blue box spun through space and time, hurtling toward its next exciting adventure— Something went “ding!” The Doctor spun to a stop in front of one part of the console, pulling a monitor down to where he was. “Doctor?” He tapped a few keys and spun a dial, frowning at the screen. “It’s always Earth, it seems,” Rose commented wryly. He smirked at her, “Yes, Earth tends to be at the center of drama quite a lot.” Rose rested her chin on his shoulder. He sucked in a slow breath, looking at the data. “2017. Rose watched him watch the screen expectantly.
He starts as if she had interrupted his thought stream and he turns to her, eyes still distant. “ Right, right.” “Countermeasures? Chapter Text Asgardian prisons never had much of a reputation in the first place, positive or negative, but if they did, it should have been for their stench. After three days stuck in his own small, damp cell, Loki was positive of this. It was the most utterly repulsive of odors—mildew soaked in cow urine, he decided, twisting his face into a new version of the grimace that had been cast over it ever since they removed the ridiculous muzzle placed on him by those absurd Avengers.
Avengers. Just the name sent a ripple of hatred through him, and his teeth clenched with disgust as his hand ran along the stone wall, withdrawing as soon as icy moisture began to collect on it. Because he had nothing against peace, nothing at all. Never being given a chance… oh, that was a scenario that Loki was all too familiar with. Revenge on the Avengers. Revenge. Revenge… It was death, naturally, that had been ruled as fair recompense.
The guards had no idea that they’d never live to see that dawn. “Oh? Supervengers: After Purgatory - JoCarthage - The Avengers (2012), Supernatural. Tony was taking aim on another Chitauri rider when he heard Hawkeye yell in his ear: "No, Tony, don't!
