The Summer Program’s Equinox courses provide rigorous acceleration opportunities for academically gifted and talented students completing grades 9 through 12. Equinox offers courses in English and writing, humanities, mathematics, science, design and technology. During each three-week session, students take a single course that meets from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., five days a week. All Equinox courses are taught at the high school honors, Advanced Placement, and college levels by highly qualified instructors, and each course carries one or two semesters of high school credit upon successful completion. I purchased Pocket God the other day, and I’ve been moving through it quite rapidly. It’s really quite lovely. But, most importantly, I’ve decided to compose a list of episode tasks so that if somebody is stuck or struggling, they can pick themselves back up and keep moving forward. There’s a couple other sites like appbuddy and the pocketblog offering a similar service, but I figure the more the merrier, right?

I’m sorry. I know it’s Monday morning and you probably came here for some pretty pictures of food that you could glance at, and then move on with your day… and here I go thrusting warm, soft cinnamon sugar bread in your face. It’s not fair. I know it’s not fair. I know that now you’re craving cinnamon rolls, and cream cheese frosting and chili fries and hot dogs. I am too… and I already ate half of this warm bread.

So, after being gone all last week, this has been catch up on the house week. Mostly laundry actually. Man, who knew that a weeks worth of laundry from 5 people could be so daunting. Yikes!!
The best movies evoke tears, laughter, terror, reminiscence, and/or mystery in a truly personal way. Anything less (AKA, around 98% of all movies) serves no purpose other than to shove mindless, forgettable fodder in our face and line Hollywood’s pockets (Be afraid Michael Bay, be VERY afraid). This is that other , sacred 2%—the Holy Grail of cinema.
