T-shirt shag rug tutorial | Molly Kay Stoltz. Here it is, finally! My shag rug is complete. I love how it feels under my feet, and if it starts to look a little flat, I pick it up, shake it, and it fluffs right back up! It took some time but I finished it and I’m glad I decided to make one. You can too, especially if you like to cut up t-shirts but never know what to do with the scraps afterwards. The scraps from my scarves are perfect candidates for making a rug. Feel free to message me with any questions. How to Make a T-shirt Shag Rug Supplies: 1 XL t-shirt, cloth scissors, and lots of small t-shirt scraps the base with a few scraps threaded through 1. Webs. Lamps and lights. Jewellery. Hunt, gather and host: a knitting party. For years, many of our friends have been asking us to teach them to knit. We finally had a get-together for the knitters-to-be on a Saturday afternoon when we hosted a winter-to-spring knitting party. Saying a slow farewell to winter, we celebrated our favorite parts of winter with knitting, warm bowls of chili, hot chai tea and winter whites. We were inspired by the bare branches outside that will soon blossom with buds, leaves and blooms and the hints of green that start sprouting in winter’s neutral landscape.

We put bunches of bright white spring tulips in jars (saved and reused from our kitchen) that we accented with handknit collars. We used big fallen birch branches gathered from the woods of northern Michigan to create a centerpiece for our table and put bunches of green dianthus in pots. Of course I can live without this website and I could definitely live without most websites like, facebook, twitter, even Linked In. But I really, really love pinterest, it’s my favourite social networking site to date. It’s every visual learner’s wet dream. It’s where creative ideas come together to be seen. So, why do I love this website so much? The Idea: Fill 30 balloons with helium and attach a ribbon with a photo for each year of the person’s life at the end of the balloon. I couldn't have done this without the help of his mother, who sent me all of the adorable photos.

This was one my favourite photos. I made sure to have as many different coloured balloons as possible. Tools you will need And for dessert, his favourite: apple crumble! For the Topping: Instructions 1. Enjoy! Toddler Crafts Photo Gallery | Kids Crafts for All Ages -- Browse Kids Crafts by Age.
