When asked to indicate your major area of interest/specialty, type Special Education Transition. When asked what degree you will seek, choose Certification. Interested in taking only one or two courses? Program Requirements Certificate programs can be pursued independently or concurrently with a master’s program.

Required Courses (15 credit hours) For a Master of Education in Special Education, emphasis in Special Education Transition, 21 additional credit hours of coursework and a comprehensive evaluation or thesis will be required.
