How to make a notepad. Here is a simple little project to turn that awesome Mom’s Got A Latte Do Today List into a magnetic notepad that would make a cute gift!

How to make a notepad

You can actually buy a special glue for making notepads called padding compound . I was not able to find it anywhere locally so I tried silicone sealant (found at Wal-Mart or a home improvement store) and had great results. To make these fun notepads you will need: two clamps two pieces of wood 100% silicone sealant cardboard for the backing (I used a cereal box) paper for your notepad (I made 12 copies of the download so my pad had 24 sheets) Cut the paper and cardboard to the desired size. Once silicone is completely dry remove from clamps. The sheets tear beautifully from the pad. Add a magnet to the back of the notepad and you have a great magnetic notepad for your refrigerator. {Free Printable} Valentine Coupon Book. ***Spoiler Alert*** If you happen to be my husband-Jeff- Quit reading this post!!

;) Ok... So for Valentines this year, I decided to put together stuff to do the 14 days of Valentines for my husband. I have never done it before so it will be fun to watch him get his little surprises each day! In the meantime, I wanted to share one of the gifts that I am giving him on one of the 14 days. It's just tiny... approx=1x2 inches... so it would be fun to hide it in a pocket or on the dash of your special someone's car for them to find. I made two versions...

To put it together, print your page/pages and cut out each of the coupons individually (I cut just inside of the rectangles so that the coupons were slightly smaller than the cover)- except with the top rectangle on the page- that one is the cover of the book... To print the pages, just click on the link below each image that says "download here". My coupons with text printed on them Blank Coupons Enjoy!! Country Living Shrinky Dinks Jewelry.

I’ve been beyond excited about the new March issue of Country Living magazine coming out this week!

Country Living Shrinky Dinks Jewelry

I, along with three other DIY bloggers, was asked to share a craft project with their readers. (Uhhm, twist my arm!) If you are a new visitor of JSIM, Welcome! They favored a past Shrinky Dinks project I posted on my blog so I created a special craft just for the March issue and included free digital images for you to download from the Country Living website. The images are modified scans of vintage flea market ephemera I’ve collected, most of which I’ve shared with you on my blog.

Once the images are downloaded , (don’t worry that they look faded, they will burst with color once baked), print to 8 x 10″ Shrinky Dinks sheets made specifically for ink jet printers. Trim out the individual pieces. If creating a linking bracelet, punch two holes- one on each side of the images you want to link. Bake as directed to shrink the images. Finish with a toggle or clasp.

JSIM TV: Free Vintage Clip Art

Just havin’ fun. But I do have a collection of fun vintage television art that I put together with typography that you can use in your blog design, scrapbooking, greeting cards and more. Drop a photo or text into the TV screens and let me know if you come up with something cool, I’d love to see it. Click on image above for the FREE PDF file. And while on the subject of TVs, you can pick up tv stands to go with yours from CNS, an online company with so many stores and products to choose from. Share. Vintage Youngster Yardstick for Girls. There have been a couple of occasions when a very thoughtful reader has sent to me a care package.

Vintage Youngster Yardstick for Girls

Most recently my blog friend, Skitzo Leezra, shipped a treasure chest in the form of a parcel of little vintage goodies that she knew I would love. She was absolutely right! My favorite find in the box was a vintage advertising promotion for a bank. A folded growth chart. Possibly they gave these away to new customers or children who opened accounts. I scanned the old “Youngster Yardstick”, cleaned up the artwork and lettering and created free files for you to download, print and put together to create your own darling growth chart for girls. Click on the images below to access the FREE PDF files in the original blue color and the instructions for putting it together, similar to my other growth chart HERE.

Thank you again, Skitzo Leezra! Share. JSIM-Matchbooks.jpg (1000×1368)
