Un estudio británico pronostica una futura hambruna mundial. Un exhaustivo estudio comisionado por el gobierno del Reino Unido concluyó que se deben emprender urgentemente cambios radicales en la producción de alimentos a fin de evitar la amenaza de una hambruna global.
El estudio afirma que la producción alimenticia tendría que aumentar 40% en el transcurso de los próximos 20 años para abastecer a la creciente población mundial.
