Now, I don’t know about you…but as a Mother myself, I prefer gifts that are of the pampering kind. I have been obsessed with using DoTerra Essential Oils and just got some Lime oil. It smells AMAZING! So…I made a Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub. If you have been hanging around The Idea Room, you have been aware of my Sugar Scrub obsession. Since my food allergy diagnosis, I have incorporated Coconut Oil as my main cooking/baking base and I am in LOVE with it. Plus, the combination of Lime and Coconut scream summer, which we are totally looking forward to at our house. You just might want to eat this stuff…which would totally be fine since everything is edible :)!

I know that mother’s day is still a little ways away but it never hurts to think about these things early. Am I right!? This wonderful Lemon Sugar Scrub is great not just for the mothers in your life, but also works great as a gift for your kiddo’s teacher or even as a little pampering gift to yourself. By the time spring rolls around, my hands and feet are always incredibly dry from the cold winter months. Supplies: 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar; divided1/4 cup coconut oil (almond oil will also work)1 lemon or lemon natural oils Put sugar in a large bowl. Using a zester or small grater, zest the rind of 1 lemon.

If sugar scrub is still too “wet”, add up to 1/2 cup more sugar until desired consistency is reached. Then grab a little jar of some sort. Pour your new, fancy lemon sugar scrub into the jar.
