I've summarised it here partly for my own benefit (I have to repeat the process on each new machine) and partly in the hope that it may be be of use to others. Please tell me, simonpj@microsoft.com, if there are things you find useful that aren't mentioned here. I have a Win2k Machine, but I've added possibly-inaccurate notes about Win95 too. In general, Win95/Win98 behave the same, and WinNT/Win2k behave the same.
