How To Make a Fruit Crumble with Any Kind of Fruit — Cooking Lessons from The Kitchn. There will be a crumble of one kind or another on my table from now until Thanksgiving. Not to mention crisps and cobblers. Making any of these is so easy that you barely need a recipe — in fact, one basic recipe with some variations will serve for each. The only requirement is fresh summer fruit — the riper and closer to jamminess the better. But at the New York Culinary Experience this weekend, Conant divulged his secrets and taught us all to replicate his signature pasta—no flashy technique, exotic spices, or kitchen wizardry required.

How to make it? The pasta. The tomatoes. After you've peeled and seeded, split the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds, reserving the seedy liquid; it'll come in later. Get a few tablespoons of extra virgin on the stove, and once the oil is very hot, but not smoking, add the tomatoes. Much better. Spices for Health | McCormick® Live deliciously™ Group Recipes.
