Comment voyager à moindre frais et en faire son mode de vie ? Pourquoi tout quitter ? Mon copain et moi avions des situations très confortables, des CDI et un appart, mais nous en avions marre de passer nos journées à travailler pour quelque chose qui ne nous intéressait pas. Travailler une année en Chine n’a pas vraiment amélioré le problème : le contexte était peut-être dépaysant, mais nous nous ennuyions toujours. Nous avions déjà testé la vie en France, en Espagne et en Chine donc, mais aucun de ces pays ne nous plaisait assez pour nous y installer définitivement.

Nous étions tous les deux convaincus qu’une vie heureuse est une vie riche en expériences, en rencontres, équilibrée et surtout, avec toujours la possibilité de choisir. Et nous concevions le travail comme une source de revenus bien sûr, mais aussi comme un créateur de lien social et comme un moyen d’apprendre en permanence.
