If I ask my family what they would like me to cook for them it is usually Chicken with Red Pepper Sauce and even my husband, who really dislikes peppers, loves this sauce. It is great with chicken or fish and I have also served it with pasta. The dish itself is a handy one to have in your arsenal if friends or family are coming to dinner – the sauce can be made and chicken wrapped early on or indeed the day before and kept chilled, then all you have to do is cook the chicken and heat the sauce – easy. Tonight I stuffed my chicken breasts with roasted peppers and tomatoes (sprinkled with olive oil, salt and pepper and roasted for around 40 mins at 200ºC) and creamy mozzarella. I used spanish bacon but I also use pancetta or slices of serrano or parma ham depending on what is available that day.29/11/2008 W związku z trwającym Weekendem Korzennym organizowanym Ptasie postanowiłam zrobić Halawe, którą poznałam dzięki Lullaby . Spodobał mi się ten sposób przygotowania kaszy manny, zaintrygowało połączenie składników i aromatów. Mimo zawiłości związanych z sama kaszą potrawa jest szybka w przygotowaniu i warta spróbowania. Niestety jednak chyba wolę "kremową mannę". Ponadto przesadziłam ze słodkimi dodatkami i mnie zemdliło, jednak nie lubię aż tak słodkich dań. Jeśli zdecyduję się jeszcze raz robić halawe to posłodzę ją na końcu, tak jak proponuje Lullaby i dam mniej rodzynek(niżej już napisałam zmniejszoną ich ilość ).

Bierzemy drugą salaterke (WAŻNE: nie może być w niej ani kropli wody!). Rozdzielamy jajka wrzucając białka do nowej salaterki, a żółtka do rozmieszanej mąki i mleka. Białka ubijamy mikserem na sztywną pianę. Jeśli nie masz miksera, możesz to zrobić trzepaczką lub widelcem, tylko zajmie to więcej czasu. Durian is good by itself or with sticky rice. I learned to eat durian sticky rice in coconut milk from a frozen Thai dessert sold at the supermarket. It was so good I had to make some. :) This dessert taste best when hot. Leftover can be refrigerated and microwave later.
