Seven million and counting. Martin Bashir. Take Action. Both houses of Congress passed the STOCK Act, the bill that would stop congressional insider trading.

Take Action

But the version that passed in the House is substantially weaker than the version that passed in the Senate. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) did his campaign funders on Wall Street a huge favor by including a loophole for lobbyists and hedge fund managers who trade on congressional insider information. But the real culprit is the press – they’ve simply abrogated their responsibility to give people accurate, truthful information. We are now stuck with a media that puts “balance” or “objectivity” before truth. RealClearPolitics - Opinion, News, Analysis, Videos and Polls. Ex-CIA Head Defends Torture.
