PT-BR-> Essa é a nova vinheta de assinatura oficial da O2 Filmes, e será utilizada em todas as “saidas” audio-visuais da casa. O briefing, de que caminhos seguir para a essa nova vinheta, partiu de uma pesquisa minha e do Ricardo Laganaro,posteriormente apresentada aos diretores da casa que apontaram caminhos ‘a experimentar. Todos em conjunto deram sugestões. Juntamos nossas ideias e depois de umas 3 ou 4 versões feitas sobre a ideia principal essa foi a aprovada. Na vinheta dezenas de fragmentos da propria logo pairam no ar. A graça está no fato de que nenhum elemento se move espacialmente pra formar a logo até a formação. Nas primeiras versões essa profundidade era evidenciada pela diferença de Foco no ambiente, e também luz, e a camera NUNCA parava, mas isso logisticamente não funcionou tão bem para ASSINATURA, pq era bonito, mas atrapalhava a leitura “montada”. This is my “premiere” working as a VFX Artist on an international feature film.It´s “360″ from the acclaimed Brazillian director Fernando Meirelles (City of God, Constant Gardener, Blindness, etc). Some months ago, i´ve worked on this production, doing some VFX shots. It´s not a “VFX Movie”, but there´s some invisible VFX to help on a lot of scenes. Fernando is a Huge fan of the “Real Thing”, so work on VFX for his movies can be challenging. He has a very good eye for fine details. And give us a great incentive to accomplish the tasks doing our best, and respecting the deadlines. Two Days of work along with the Director ( and Film Team on Set, to give the support on how to shoot each effect Scene. Rodrigo Elias, was on set with me, helping on supervising during the second shooting day, while i was photographing many textures and plates with my camera to be used on projections, 3d elements and reconstructions by the O2 team.Please, don’t waste your time saying that’s a copy of the Lilli alen FuckYou Video clip… Guess What…I know it !

Rango Poster Sorry if you haven´t seen the movie yet… If you like 3D animation, it’s a shame not seeing Rango… So…I need to advise you about this post… There are spoilers here. Be warned. I would like to talk about RANGO, the first Feature Animation from ILM… I have to say, technicaly this movie is a masterpiece. ILM is always flawless on technical aspects of 3D (CGI). Rango shines on the “Bar Scene”, but the movie lost it’s mojo and it’s rythym in the blink of an eye… For me, the history construction, looks very strange, and none of the characters have any stronger charisma at all.The entire movie and storytelling aspects of it looks inconsistent, sometimes good sometimes weak.
Let’s take a look at the main character…Rango… He doesn’t show ANY deeper/true interest to ANY other character, even with his romantic “pair”. I am not talking that i am a good coder, but i like to use little scripts to improve my workflow, and like to learn about coding to help my on some tedious tasks. I advice everyone to start learning a bit of coding in any 3D Package, cause it opens your mind and break some workflow limitations. This is my very first decent script (MaxScript for 3DSMAX). Simple and usefull. It’s the first version and i will improve it with more functionalities very soon. Version of my simple plugin to add some caos to a set of objects.
