Peter blaskovic | escape motions. This is my experimental research in field of art, graphics, math, physics... I have fun to mix different subjects together and finding a new ways of expression. Some of them have great usage in new medias, production or simulations, some of them are just for fun. :) Experiments are created in Processing or Flash .

Processing is a great open source programming language for artists. It is simple and creative tool based on Java and has fantastic support. Most of these applications are interactive and processor intensive, so please close unnecessary browser tabs. If Java applet is not running in a browser window try to: 1. reload page and wait a while, if it doesn't help, 2. delete browsers cache and restart browser, if this doesn't help, 3. download latest Java from here for Windows or manually from here for all operating systems and reload page.

Retouching Week. Kuler. Show me your Creative Edits (Post Processing Work, Layering Textures, Photoshop Art) Show me your Creative Edits (Post Processing Work, Layering Textures, Photoshop Art) post yours! I have been playing around with Textures and different post processing techniques.. started to slow down with the seniors and this gave me an opportunity to work on my post processing skills.. i really want to learn how to manipulate layers and colors and tones.. add textures and effects from filters.. this training is a trial and error process because i have been using photoshop for about 1 1/2 years and still learning how to use all the tools.. adjustment layers and such.. if you want to become more dynamic, and competitive in this photography market or just want to improve your hobbyist satisfaction, you must improve your post processing skills.. ( I have certainly learned the Value of having a good file in camera first, but what i have learned is: the photography market demands more and a good file is only half of the equation.. you must do some good post processing too..) so here goes..

Photoshop CS4: A Picture Worth a Thousand Words Layers Magazine | Layers Magazine. I love Photoshop techniques that offer all kinds of possibilities for experimentation—and the following tutorial is a perfect example of one of those techniques. In this issue, we’re going to take a portrait and replace the person’s image with text (think 2009 Grammy posters). Pick a portrait that offers good contrast—a photo that’s very dramatic and dark probably won’t work as well. I’ve had the best success with straight-on head and shoulder shots, but again, feel free to experiment with all types of photos. For the best results, choose a photo that has a light background (or select the background around the person and make it lighter). Create a new document (File>New) in a size that’s smaller than your photo: the specifics don’t really matter.

Switch back to the photograph. Then, press Command-J (PC: Ctrl-J) to copy the selected pixels onto a new layer. Go back to the Select menu and choose Color Range again. Click the Create a New Layer icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. Image Sequences in Photoshop Layers Magazine | Layers Magazine. Arranging multiple shots of a motion sequenced together can sometimes produce very interesting results. In this article, we’ll explore how you can use the auto-align layers and auto-blend layers in Photoshop for assembling a sequence of different photos into a single multi-image composite. 1 THE ADVENT OF MOTION SEQUENCES Although motion sequence images are very familiar to us today, the first high-speed motion studies by Eadweard Muybridge in 1878 represented a stunning technical achievement that revolutionized photography and revealed aspects of movement that had never before been seen.

Using multiple cameras loaded with wet glass plates arranged along a racetrack, his motion studies of a running horse finally settled the long-debated question of whether all four of a galloping horse’s hooves left the ground at the same time (they do). Photoshop. Photoshop. Learn to draw caricatures. Drawing caricatures with lines. The first caricature you'll draw won't really be a caricature. What I want you to do is "dumb down" a portrait so we can get a caricature style of drawing going. Get your lap desk out and put a sheet or two of paper on it and get comfortable in front of your computer. Sharpen your 5B pencil and have your eraser handy. If you'd like to print out the photo we'll be working with go ahead. I want you to draw the woman here with the simplest lines and shadows you can. Draw her in correct proportion, but do it with as few lines as you can. If you need to review how to measure the facial features to get correct proportions check out that section of DRAWING PEOPLE. Does your drawing look anything like the one I did? Bold Line.

Shadow. Hair. Your assignment: I'd like you to draw some other faces to try and develop a "caricature style" of drawing.
