CILC is being supported by representatives of the professional organizations of judges, lawyers, bailiffs and notaries, and the Dutch academic community.In the latest blow to the reeling Dewey & LeBoeuf, the Manhattan district attorney's office has opened an investigation into "allegations of wrongdoing" by a former firm chairman, and the firm has tapped two of its own lawyers to lead an internal probe, according to a memo authored by Dewey management. The bombshell revelation of the criminal probe came the same day that the firm got a bit of good news from its lenders. Fifty-one litigants attending a second Scott Rothstein deposition will have to share the costs of the deposition with the bankruptcy trustee, including the $500-an-hour fee charged by Rothstein attorney Marc Nurik.
