The Idea: DIY Rope Container
Using rough rope such a sisal or manila, create the base of the container by making a spiral, adding dots of hot glue to adhere the rope to itself. When you have reached the size of the base you want, simply wind the rope onto the outermost edge of the base, and glue as you go. Finish the top at your desired height by winding and gluing two or three times around the inside of the vessel.
