Today I’m sharing some adorable rosette finds from the web. Several of these have great DIY instructions while others are items sold on Etsy. Nikkala of The Crafting Chicks shows you how to make this adorable Rosette Ring out of rick rack! Felt Poppy tutorial and pattern. Today we are going to keep with the spring celebration with another felt flower tutorial, this time poppy flowers, they might not look exactly like Poppies but to me that was the real flower they resemble the most =] I’ve made these kinds of flowers for a very long time but I never really named them, so there you go.

These ones are super easy to make, just like the Camelias. Actually these ones require less sewing and if you want they can involve no sewing at all by using hot glue. I made mine in different purple shades with yellow bead centers, after our wedding I was sick of Purple (because I worked on so many Purple projects) but now I am loving Purple again =] YAY! Download the pattern (You will find 8 different sizes for you to play with! )Your choice of felt (I used 3 9″x12″sheets in different colors, but I didn’t even use half of it)Thread, needle and scissors.Hot glue gun.Little beads or embellishments for the center of your flower. I think these might be my favorite type of felt flowers. They are definitely more time consuming than the roses I made for my yarn wreath but completely worth it. You will need to cut 13 circles out of felt. 1 of them should be 3" in diameter and 12 should be 2" in diameter. The larger circle is for the bottom. Now take your smaller circles and add some hot glue to the center. Circle-felt-flower. Hey guys….soo yeah I am not quite off my felt flower kick, lol…I also made some circle flowers, which are just as easy as the layered ones!

Cut 6 circles of the same size… Then glue 5 of them into quarters…and glue them on another circle like so. Plop another quartered circle on top and you’re finished. Add a clip, pin…you’re in business. Simple Felt Fabric Flower by Fabric Flowers. Mini-scalloped-felt-flowers. Another felt flower!

These are easy and so cute. I made them by first cutting out flowers with my Go Baby! Rose of Sharon die. You could cut a flower shape out by hand easily, too. Mine were about 3″ wide. Rolled-felt-flowers. While on my latest felt flower making kick, I also made these easy rolled flowers.

Cut a long strip of felt, I prefer wool felt (my strips were about 18″ long and 2″ wide) then fold over and glue lengthwise…just along the edge. Then cut little slits however wide you like, and end them about 3/8″ from the bottom. Felt-flowers. Get ready for some felt flowers this week!

I had a blast making a bunch the other day and made a few tutorials for them, they’re simple stuff, but so quick and fun to make. Today I’ll show you how I made these easy layered flowers. First I cut out a bunch of flowers from wool felt, using my Go Baby! Rose of Sharon die. You could easily cut out floral shapes by hand though! Then fold in half, and dab a little hot glue in the middle, let it cool. Fold in half again and dab some more glue! The proof: I can, just take a quick look at my result below. And, believe me, I am neither meticulous nor particularly patient. You could even say I’m the opposite. Wouldn’t it be so nice to have one that matched every outfit? I say let’s do it! I’m going to show you how to make an interchangeable flower hair clip by placing flower petals in between two magnets. One magnet will be glued to a single prong clip and the other to a bottle cap. If you use strong magnets you will have no problem putting 10 petals in between your magnets.
