» How to Make a Fabric Bow | Tutorial » Whipperberry. Fabric Bows. This weekend I decided to try making some bows out of fabric. I had seen this wonderful tutorial over at See Kate Sew and made a handful myself. Kate makes them using her sewing machine which seems to be pretty easy. However I do not own a sewing machine and actually have never used one before.

So I just hand stitched these pretty quickly. First cut out a piece of fabric. Then with the fabric still inside out, sew around the edges of the rounded square, leaving a hole open. Next, flip the pouch inside out. Pinch together the fabric in the center of the square. Wrap a thin piece of fabric around the middle. Sew straight across the back of the strip of fabric. At this point there are so many different uses for these bows. I made this black and white bow for Lyla's hair. PoP TUT. PoP Bow FREE Tutorial: I mention to start out with 7 inches of ribbon.
