Haringey Sixth Form College – formerly known as Sixth Form Centre – has been upgraded to the second highest rating possible by the official government schools inspectors. In the report, Ofsted praised the progress made by students, with high numbers of them going on to university. It also praised the ambition of staff and the governors to raise the college up from previously substandard levels. The College received “Requires Improvement” in its last inspection earlier in 2015. Rob Thomas, principal of the college, said: “The college has undergone a remarkable transformation over the last year.
