I'm Different I don't want to be the same. I don't get embarrassed And I rarely worry I can laugh at myself, and don't take things all that seriously It takes a lot to get me excited And when I do, you know it's worth it I don't obsess over any one thing I don't have the attention span for it I love music, but I rarely know all the words to one song I love movies, but I always forget their titles I have favorite TV shows, but I don't watch them regularly I forget too easily to do that I'm going to be succesful In everything i do I care too much for my own good But I can't trust others to do the same towards me I live to love, and love to be loved in return I just want a good life And so far it's working pretty well I believe everything happens for a reason Both the good and the bad You learn from everything you do People may say they wish things had happened differently, at different times I wouldn't change a thing I dont regret anything I am who I am because of what ive been through and the things ive done Each thing at each different time is there for a reason It prepares you for the next And makes you into the person you are I learn things the hard way It's the only way I can really understand I won't change for you I wouldn't expect you to change for me This is how I get through life I'm just me And I really don't want to be like you
