Orientation Day. Today we started off bright and early at 8:30am. Our orientation included breakfast which consists of "toast" and orange juice. Now when I say toast it actually means a sandwich. They have toast here, but when you go to a "toast" stand like Isaac toast or your little restaurants on campus when you see toast it's a sandwich. Sometimes they toast the bread but the few times I've had them its just a sandwich. Then we started our orientation.
We also filled out our documents for our Alien Registration card, which is used as ID in Korea and bank information to open a bank account. The new dean of SGEE also dropped by to say a few words to us Oh Yoon Sung. Then we had a lunch break. Then the returnees to the program took us noobs on a tour of the campus. To explain this in a chronological manner, I’ll address what I call “Traditional” defense (though it’s more of an “outdated” view of of it, to be more accurate): Defense used to be analyzed in terms of Options: in their ammount and effectiveness. The cast shares the following: drifting, fast-falling, executing an aerial or air-dodge, air-jumping, foot-stooling, or no action; some of which can be performed simultaneously.
So, what’s the problem with traditional defense? Timing. Let me explain why timing is so important, and defensive play’s new dimension. Now, what if your opponent used timing? Air-dodgeAerial Fast-fall. Remi February. Journal of Memories.
