Panoramic Pictures of Famous Locations Made From Carefully Shot 35mm Film. German photographer Thomas Kellner creates large-scale panoramas of famous locations using 35mm film. Rather than have the shots printed or digitized, Kellner uses scans of the film strips themselves. The rolls are kept in their long strips, which means Keller meticulously plans out and carefully shoots every shot to have the frames come together when the strips are placed side by side. He has created these unique mosiac-style panoramas of popular tourist destinations all around the world, from Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco (shown above) to the Great Wall of China.
The resulting project is titled, “Tango Metropolis“. You can find more of these images over on Kellner’s website. Kellner also has a prior project titled “Monuments,” which features smaller buildings and structures turned into smaller-scale panoramas (sometimes with a single roll of carefully exposed film). Man kann mehr Zeit mit seinen Fotos am Computer verbringen, als man für die Aufnahme selbt benötigt hat. Um die Zeit am Computer zu optimieren ist es hilfreich sich genau seinen Ablauf, den sogenannten Workflow, zu überlegen. Kennt man seinen Workflow und die richtigen Handgriffe dazu, spart man meistens Zeit. Seit ich Lightroom 3 verwende habe ich meinen Workflow zu früher angepasst. Den früheren Workflow mit Apple Aperture können Sie im Artikel Workflow für Fotografie am Mac nachlesen. Was brauche ich? Ich fotografiere normalerweise mit meiner Canon EOS 30D. Ebenso verwende ich ein iPad 2 mit 32 GB und der App Photosmith, auf die ich auch im Laufe des Artikels eingehen werde. Wenn ich einmal ein paar Schnappschüsse mit meinem iPhone aufnehme, nutze ich Dropbox für die Übertragung auf meinen Rechner. Wie kommen meine Fotos von der Kamera auf meinen Rechner?
