Gluten Free Oatmeal Millet Bread. This Gluten Free Oatmeal Millet Bread is a hearty, soft loaf of bread that can be used for everything from sandwiches to toast. It’s a full-sized loaf of bread, so it’s much larger than any of the pre-made gluten-free loaves you’ll find in stores. The texture on the inside is tender and springy. It’s hard to resist cutting off an end chunk while the bread is still warm and slathering it with ghee! I make my own oat flour by grinding gluten-free rolled oats in my food processor or high speed blender. If you’re worried about the gluten-free purity of your oats, I highly recommend the GF Harvest brand of oats. You can read all about their purity protocol here. Why not buy already ground gluten-free oat flour? This recipe has been edited as of 01/12/18. I originally created this recipe years ago. Gluten Free Crêpes. Serve them sweet or savory! Gluten free crêpes are so, so easy to make, and make an everyday meal extraordinary! Gluten free crêpes are simple, French-style pancakes. Light, airy and delicate but not fragile, these pancakes can be served sweet or savory. I often serve them simply, with roasted chicken and vegetables and a bit of cheese. Simply fill the crêpes like you would a taco or burrito before serving warm. You can make these crêpes up to a couple hours ahead of time, cover them, and then serve them at room temperature. Feel like freezing them? You can warm them in a hot, dry skillet, or add your favorite fillings and warm them in the oven or microwave. The consistency of the batter should be like half and half: thicker than whole milk, thinner than heavy cream. The first pancake is always for the cook, as it may be rather unfortunate looking. Simple syrup for serving Here, I’ve served the crêpes with a lemon simple syrup. Make them tonight.

The cookies have 3 ingredients. When I was putting together the annual 22 boxes of cookies for my husband’s coworkers this year, I needed a last minute addition to fill out the boxes a bit. Pumpkin Donuts Made Allergy Friendly | Allergy Free Test Kitchen. It is pumpkin time! They are popping up in stores and in the décor of many homes and landscaping. For many that means time for homemade pumpkin treats. Now, I am not a big fan of pumpkin as far as taste is concerned, but that doesn’t mean everyone feels like I do. In fact, I think I may be in the minority…even in my own family. So, here’s what happened. The first batch out the oven turned out great. So, not only did I make these donuts gluten free, milk free and egg free, I made them even healthier by baking them rather than deep fat frying them.

Paleo Cinnamon Coffee Cake Recipe | Elana's Pantry. Homemade coffee cake is one of my favorite comfort foods.

Growing up my mother used to buy an incredibly tasty frozen coffee cake at the grocery store. It was a special treat, albeit processed and full of preservatives and chemicals. My healthy version is made with only six ingredients –almond flour, salt, baking soda, coconut oil, honey, and eggs– this easy coffee cake recipe can be thrown together in no time flat. The topping has three additional ingredients –coconut sugar, cinnamon, and sliced almonds. Like the cake that my mom used to buy, this cake is moist and has a sweet cinnamon topping.

I have a fabulous Blueberry Coffee Cake recipe in Paleo Cooking from Elana’s Pantry . Gluten-Free Mini Caramel Pecan Tarts | My Baking Addiction. These grain-free and gluten-free mini caramel pecan tarts couldn’t be any easier and are the perfect end to Thanksgiving dinner! In my last two gluten-free recipes, I used oats and oat flour but for these mini caramel pecan tarts, I wanted to incorporate some nuts and nut flour for an ultra-nutty treat. The result is a crust that’s very similar to a graham cracker crust, though a little softer. While you certainly can use pecans in the crust, I opted for walnuts as they’re much cheaper where I live.

The primary taste in the crust is cinnamon so I don’t feel like I missed out on anything by not using pecans. The only downside to this crust is that it’s not suitable for fillings that require baking. Even with chilling, pre-baking and an egg white wash, the baked fillings I tried leaked through. Grain-free crusts can be finicky like that, which is why I came up with this easy no-bake caramel filling. I have to admit, I’m quite possibly the world’s worst caramel maker. Not feeding a crowd? The crust is a super simple mix of crushed walnuts, a little brown sugar and either melted butter or coconut oil. The filing is a simple blend of canned pumpkin, spices, and some sweeteners along with a little cashew milk (or milk of your choice) and some cornstarch to thicken it into a filling as it bakes. Cookie bars, cookies, and blondies What’s the difference between cookie bars, straight-up chocolate chip cookies, and blondies? Today I’m sharing the recipes for my Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies, which are naturally gluten free. Let me give you a little back-up info first though. One of my standby cookie recipes back in the day (translation: when I was eating gluten) was peanut butter cookies. After going gluten free, I was anxious to find a worthy replacement. However, I had actually tried this recipe years earlier because I’d been intrigued by the few ingredients. Quite some time later, I saw another recipe for peanut butter cookies on the celiac listserv.

I eagerly made the recipe and these peanut butter cookies were the best—even better than my old, standby recipe! I’ve even made them with regular-sized chocolate chips and chocolate chunks. How often does that happen? It’s a great recipe for children to make, as well. Notes. Gluten Free Coconut Poke Cake - Gluten free coconut poke cake made with white cake, cream of coconut poured over the top, and topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut. So many layers of coconut flavor! My dad was really into cycling when I was a little girl. One of his cycling buddies had a potluck at the end of the summer that we all got to go to. Well at this potluck, someone had brought a coconut poke cake. And I’ve heard about this cake dozens of times through my childhood. Anyway, it was basically a white coconut cake with frosting and more coconut, but the thing that made it really special was that before it was frosted, cream of coconut was poured all over that cake and it just soaked in… Apparently it was life-changingly amazing.

Just in case you aren’t a cocktail drinker, let me tell you what cream of coconut is, and where you can find it. Poke cake is actually pretty simple, and I wanted to layer in as much coconut flavor as I could. Gluten Free Flours - Gluten Free Vegan Coconut Macaroon Nests - Allergy Free Alaska.
