Ancora una volta gli studenti di TpDomani si confrontano con strategie di marketing oltre che pubblicitarie, con un riferimento specifico alla produzione/condivisione di immaginari diffusi dal brand. Al centro della discussione ancora il marchio Ikea, ma al confronto con una realtà tutta italiana. Cosa accomuna la marca di Barilla, Mulino Bianco e la multinazionale Ikea? La prima offre al proprio target un vasto assortimento di prodotti da forno, biscotti e merendine, una differenziazione che riesce a soddisfare sia adulti che bambini, un brand che dagli anni ‘70 rappresenta uno dei marchi più venduti in Italia.
La maggior parte di noi è cresciuta con i prodotti Mulino Bianco. Ikea, invece, azienda leader nel settore immobiliare, fa del design e dei prezzi bassi dei propri prodotti i suoi punti di forza. Walter Segal (1907 – 1985) was a well know architect who developed a minimal method of building that later became a self build solution. He made his design methods and process very simple using timber as his primary material. With his designs he used a modular, rectangle style as these geometric shapes enabled the designs to be simple. He also designed the buildings around the chosen materials standard sizes as this avoided waste and removed the need to alter or cut down the material effectively reducing cost.
His method was simple, using pad stones sitting above the ground level to create foundations and then a simple timber grid frame to create the base for the house.
