Heart of a Dragon, by Kismet's Evil Twin
In days of yore
When dragons flew free in the skies
War just a word used to scare children
A man rode into town
On a horse as dark as obsidian
With a heart to match
Never had evil entered town
No one knew it to even exist
The stranger was welcomed
As all the ones before
The man started out slowly
Carrying bits of gossip here and there
With a voice of sorrow and understanding
Friendships buckle under the weight of lies
Becoming a rare sight in the sky
The dragons hate what humans became
People lost friends, even families
Fights broke up over land rights
Marriages, siblings were all torn apart
Still the man would walk the street
A sinister smile on his face
He goes by many names
Beezlebub, Deceiver, Belial, Devil
Too late did we see him steal souls
Too late to save the people and town
Too late we discovered his true nature
Too late for our tears to matter
