You will lose the recommendations on the "merging" account. I highly recommend making a copy of the merging (second) account. You can save it as a PDF - or I actually recommend clicking on select all and copying it into a word document. You will also want to export your connections on the contacts page just in case. So - you will want to write LinkedIn at cs@LinkedIn.com Have the email address of the "good" account you want and the email address of the second or merging account. Tell LinkedIn you want to merge the two accounts and make sure they know which one you want to be primary. After the accounts are merged you will have to go in and delete any duplication.
