Due to integration of Yahoo's algorithm at Bing webmaster tools, sitemap submission has become much easy and valuable now. Previously we only need to submit links to Yahoo site explorer and would need to just Ping MSN search engine, and you had no advance webmaster settings page where you could monitor your progress report but now things have pretty much changed. Just like Google webmaster account where you submit your blog or website sitemaps, you will follow an exact similar approach at Bing and yahoo. I still believe that most of the sites’ penalties were a result of too many unnatural links but now I may have another explanation. If you have a WordPress blog and you still scraping your head trying to find out why you’ve been attacked by the Penguin although you did nothing wrong, it just might relate to your blog’s theme or plugins. I recently revealed that there are much more than a few WordPress plugins, widgets and themes that injects hidden links into the page! Google clearly stating on its content guidelines for webmasters that hidden links are a violation of its guidelines which may even result a complete removal from Google index!

Some plugins’ developers insert the hidden links so they will rank higher on search engines manipulatively and the Penguin update was set to target sites that use exactly those type of sneaky patterns. Using my strategy, you work on only ONE keyword at a time. I work in SEO “cycles” each cycle targets and builds links for that ONE keyword. When the cycle is completed, I target the next keyword in another cycle dedicated to that keyword. The point here is not to target more than one keyword at a time in the same SEO Cycle. Each cycle takes a considerable amount of time, and although it’s possible to do it entirely on your own I HIGHLY recommend you outsource the work.
