I wasn’t sure if I was even going to do them but I’ve been getting a ton of requests for them and I got really excited about updating the set. The theme this year is black, white, gold and kraft paper. I know, super original, but I think the design is a playful mix of formal and slightly rustic hints. This year’s entry contains invites, paper oscar statuettes, popcorn boxes, drink tags and of course ballots; everything you need to throw a red carpet party in style! Oh, and I finally put together an “Oreo Cake” that I’ve been obsessed with since I saw it the Martha Stewart 2010 September issue. OSCAR INVITATIONThis simple invite gets some glamour when paired with a black string & button envelope.

They had contacted me after seeing some of my work online and I was thrilled to work with them. They were interested in printing some of my watercolors on an organic cotton voile. Voile is a very light and very soft fabric. It is also slightly sheer which works nicely with a watercolor pattern. When the bolts of fabric arrived I couldnt believe how soft it was. Above is a little sun dress for my daughter. These two little friends were made using the pattern from Simplicity 1549. These cute pajama bottoms are made using a pattern from McCalls M6225.
In the same flavour I found this pattern by McCalls M6249 for some women's pj bottoms. Finally, we thought it would fun to try some cosmetic bags.
