I'm 38, happily married for over 5 years now, we had a pirate themed wedding on the beach which turned out to be a great time that my family will remember for years to come. I have a step daughter15 years old, who lives with us full time. I have a son who is 2 and the love of my life. I've had the opportunity to do many interesting things in my life including being a foster parent to some really wonderful children. I've been working with children in a professional manner for over 10 years now. I have been trained in the Montessori Method while I worked as an assistant teacher for a preschool and as caseworker and clinician at with a private non-profit social services agency. I worked in the families first unit, working in family preservation. I really believe in trying to keep families together, as long as the children are safe. I worked closely with CPS to ensure the children's safety and keep them out of the system. I used to have a lot of hobbies, they have dwindled down over the years. We have lots of pets, including 2 dogs, 6 cats, a ferret, fish and 2 parakeets. Between working full time and being a full time mom (my husband works 2nd shift) and taking care of the zoo, I don't get out much.
