According to some commentator this process, also called collaborative Co-Creation, should be distinguished from Collective Intelligence. Instead of the latter's, 'all working together on one issue', what we have is people self-congregating in subprojects which are only secondarilty coordinated and aggregated. Six basic manifestations of co-intelligence If we are going to take wholeness, interconnectedness and co-creativity seriously, we are going to have to face some very challenging implications regarding intelligence: First: Intelligence must involve more than logical reason, since rationality constitutes only a tiny piece of our full capacity to learn from and relate to life. Second: Intelligence must involve more than learning how to control and predict things, since that does not engage the powerful co-creativity of life. Third: Intelligence must be far more than personal, since even ants can together generate an intelligence that's greater than they have individually.
Fourth: Intelligence needs to reach far beyond the obvious, since whatever is obvious is connected to things that aren't so obvious, and intelligence should engage with the wholeness and relatedness of things, as much as possible. Collaboration involves working with one or more people in order to achieve a resilient result. Intelligence is the ability to learn facts and skills and apply them well. Pfizer joins worldwide collaboration to fight TB | New. Pfizer Inc. scientists in Groton are joining a worldwide collaboration to find a new drug regimen to battle the worldwide scourge of tuberculosis, which kills an estimated 1.8 million people annually, the company said Thursday. The so-called Critical Path to TB Drug Regimens, an initiative that will bring together at least 10 pharmaceutical companies and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, hopes to cut the time it might take to develop a new TB therapy from as much as a quarter century to as little as six years.
At local Pfizer campuses in Groton and New London, an estimated 15 scientists are working on a solution to the TB problem. The most promising drug, still in early development, is called PNU-100480, a compound that appears to block the TB bacterium's ability to make proteins, believed to be a key to its survival. Miller said his biggest hope from the consortium is that it will "help expedite the identification of promising new combinations.
