In this page I collect a few links to posts I have written since 2005, first on the Quantum Diaries blog ( http://blogs.quantumdiaries.org/6/ ) and then in the present one. I have made no attempt at rationalizing the order, but I tried to give a very small hint at the real content of the posts. I will put more order here as soon as I have a chance… So let’s do this in chronological order, starting from the new blog: http://dorigo.wordpress.com/physics-made-easy/

Demystifying the iTunes EQ

http://www.methodshop.com/gadgets/tutorials/ituneseq/index.shtml We've all seen the EQ setting in iTunes, but not many of us know exactly how to use it to its full potential. Build a Web spider on Linux

A spider is a program that crawls the Internet in a specific way for a specific purpose. The purpose could be to gather information or to understand the structure and validity of a Web site. Spiders are the basis for modern search engines, such as Google and AltaVista. These spiders automatically retrieve data from the Web and pass it on to other applications that index the contents of the Web site for the best set of search terms. http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/library/l-spider/
