Random memories art journal & sasha holloway. Sasha has been a regular customer of my Evalicious Etsy shop for a while and I love love her style so I was very excited when she took on the challenge to create with a Random Memories art journal that I sent her.

From out of the dreaming comes art's spirit of place

By big art shows, I mean ones that reflect an entire life or period. Tjukurratjanu is the Pintupi word for origins, or ''from the dreaming''. Tjukurratjanu is also a collection of 200 paintings and artefacts from Papunya, in the Northern Territory, on display (free) in the Ian Potter Gallery, at Federation Square.

The pieces were predominantly painted in 1971 and '72, pivotal years in the creation of what is called the Aboriginal art movement. The Morning of the World, by Jules Supervielle.
