You also can display an iPad on a projector with an Apple TV (connected to a projector…the projector must have an HDMI connector as that’s the only connector on the Apple TV) and both the Apple TV and the iPad needs to be on the wireless network. There are some other solutions that may or may not work but those are the ones that don’t involve a great deal of trickery. On the radar are companies like Banana TV that will allow you to push certain content to your computer from the iPad but it’s not mirroring…yet. When asked they said, “Believe me, we’re working on it!”
