Vaseux Lake with ShuswapKayaks - KAYAKokanagan Log: 11/15/2012. Kayaking on Vaseux Lake with Matt and KCee (ShuswapKayaks) Overcast day but still a great day to paddle on Vaseux.
We paddled South past the island to the lagoons then after exploring the lagoons we paddled along the West side to the North end of the lake and back to the East side. The water level has dropped quite a bit and the sandbars made for interesting navigating around them on the North end. Here are some shots and a video. "Short Paddle" Lake water temp is still about +5c this morning air temp was +2c on the lake with a light wind from the South.
Robin and I moved his seat back a bit to accommodate his tall frame in his "Tsunami 145" a couple days ago, much improvement. Took it for a test paddle this morning. I am paddling Kathy's "Tomahawk" kayak. ~Guy. "Short Paddle" Kayaking: Skaha Lake Dec27th2012.
