The seed stitch is made using the single and double crochet stitches. Both stitches are easy to make and suitable for a beginner, however, the puff stitch is more suitable for someone at the intermediate crochet level. The strap is worked in a continuous round in order to add more strength to it. But if you wanted to, you could work it in rows with 5 stitches and then line it with a strong material once the purse is finished. Okay, so a couple of weeks turned into several months. Somehow I feel like I missed out on this one as I love to work on mindless patterns such as this one. But not having to crochet it helped save me a lot of time. It’s a very simple stitch pattern, which I have used in a few other designs. And so I figured I might get away with just writing it out and have it tested by one of my testers. So I’d like to say a huge thank you to Ashley Marie, who was kind enough to crochet up the first draft and provided me with the photos. Also, I’d like to thank my other testers, Samra Adams – SamrasCrochetShoppe, and Nia Aguda for doing the final test for me.
