Exploring is an important part of life, as it forces us to learn new things, step outside of our comfort zone, and grow as individuals.

But you don’t have to travel across the world to explore a new city. Maybe the most important city for you to see through a new lens is the one you’ve lived in your entire life. You Decide) Recently I told someone that I spreadsheet my outfits and items I need before I travel. I think she thought I was crazy. But the next week, she asked to take a look at it. I’d like to call that a little win. And then I thought I should share what works for me when it comes to travel with the Levo community, and also try to get a few more tips from all of you out there! There are few things in life I love to do more than travel.

While I am not one to plan out my outfits for a normal in-the-office-week, when it comes to travel, my packing lists is spreadsheet-ed down to a T! I would also consider myself a very savvy packer. So how do you make a packing spreadsheet? A few other tips I’ve found useful: Stick within a color palette so that it is easier to mix and match your outfits (I did black, tan and white plus print for a recent Chicago-to-Boston trip)Choose shoes that are unique, but also go with a lot of outfits. But after my husband got a job at the airline, we didn’t waste much time. On our last vacation to Costa Rica, we stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom home, close to the beach, with all the amenities for dirt cheap! 5. When traveling, most people think that they need to eat out for every meal. 6. I know how hard it is to get a group of friends on a vacation. 7. Skip the tours. 8. 9.
