The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Lens is an impressively high performing zoom lens. I regard it as one of the best general purpose lenses available and for the same reasons, it is one of the most-professionally-used Canon lenses. Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L USM review | Canon
This large aperture, super high image quality telephoto zoom lens provides performance comparable to that of a single focal length lens, with a wide zoom range. This lens is developed as a successor to the EF 80-200mm f/2.8L. Its major features include: a ring USM (Ultrasonic Motor) drive, built-in full-time manual focusing, short minimum focusing distance of 1.5m, high marginal illumination, and compatibility with Extenders EF1.4X and EF2X (extends the zoom range with AF to 98-280mm f/4 or 140-400mm f/5.6 respectively). Although this is a large aperture telephoto zoom lens, it is equipped with four low refraction/low dispersion UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass lens elements (2nd,3rd,11th & 13th) that offer excellent contrast and sharpness. Unlike some other sites, we don't concentrate purely on sharpness and present other lens qualities almost as an afterthought; we consider chromatic aberration, distortion and vignetting at an equal level. The reason for this is simple, as these other attributes will often have a more destructive effect on perceived image quality than any softness of the lens.
Sony has announced the NEX_FS700 pro-grade 4k-capable E-mount camcorder. The camera will initially offer 1080p video, switchable between 50Hz and 60Hz frame rates (including 60p, 50p, 60i and 24p). A later upgrade will enable 4k capture and Raw output from its built-in 3G-SDI connector. The camera is also able to capture slow-motion footage, shooting at up to 960 fps at reduced resolution (240fps in Full HD). It also offers built-in 2- and 4-stop ND filters (which can be combined), to allow lenses to be used at wide apertures in bright light.
