Since our formation in December 1997 our membership has grown rapidly with a diverse membership of men, women and children interested in different aspects of astronomy. TPAS welcomes new members of all ages and levels of interest. Our members range from absolute beginners, students, experienced teachers and adult educators, telescope-makers, experts in electronics, and optical systems, to various areas of research astronomy. TPAS has built a recreational observatory containing a variety of telescopes for our members' observing pleasure.
