Books that transformed my life and business - Business Insider. As a teenager I had a period of many years where I stopped reading books completely. I even remember a time where I couldn't imagine reading books at all. After I graduated and started to be interested in business and startups, I realized the immense power and knowledge contained within books, and I started reading more and more.

Reviso las listas de libros vendidos, los comentarios de lectores, las críticas más malvadas y escucho a mis amigas contarme sobre sus propios descubrimientos. Book Recommendations From Charlie Munger. “In my whole life, I have known no wise people (over a broad subject matter area) who didn’t read all the time—none. Zero. The Book: “Springboard: Launching Your Personal Search for Success” By G. Richard Shell G. Richard Shell, a Wharton professor and creator of the popular course, “The Literature of Success: Historical and Ethical Perspectives,” wants you to know one thing: The formula for success is not one-size-fits-all.

This may seem like an unlikely stance, considering he teaches at one of the most prestigious business schools in the country. Shell’s big tip: Follow your capabilities, or the things you do “a bit better than others.” What that means: Approach your career from the inside out—considering who you are, fundamentally, when making professional decisions.
