The concept of “there’s an app for that” enables growing retailers to build lean, efficient, and robust organizations driven by easy to use solutions specializing in one primary business function.

Today the picture is very different - online retailers have hundreds of applications to choose from that provide them with the freedom and flexibility to deploy the right application for each of the 8 primary business functions. Services like logistics, delivery & payment collections and referral services, which are often complementary to online transactions, have become crucial for the e-commerce industry as portals jostle for more clicks in a crowded space.

Start-ups are moving in to provide these services exclusively focusing on this burgeoning space. For instance, when 22-yearold Aadhar Aggarwal opened an online grocery store, he realised that it was the logistics part of the business that was becoming a challenge.
