Sugarbutch Chronicles

So I have really a lot to say about my experience at the International Ms. Leather contest in San Francisco last weekend—about how it was pretty phenomenal to be in a hotel space filled with leather women (and those who love them), about the BDSM & anal workshop that Tristan Taormino led, about the 10 rules for happy non-monogamy workshop that Andrea Zanin led, and the single tail workshop that had me inspired, and the “parade of colors” and the leather sashes that made me, from the audience, go, “oh my gosh this is such a thing ,” the royalty that leather title holders have, the awesomeness that are our new titleholders: the butch from Texas is our new IMsL and the femme bootblack is the new IMsBB! I’m thrilled that they’re representing this community and I wish them so many amazing adventures and fun travels. And I kind of don’t know where to start, with what to tell you. http://www.sugarbutch.net/

I really hope that someday soon, someone makes “G-Spot: The Musical.” I imagine it could be like the Buffy: The Musical episode. In it, G-spots are magically hexed to make people sing and dance when they’re stimulated, and of course few people believe they exist – except for a few clever and nerdy girls and guys that solve the mystery al la Scooby Gang. It takes several saucy musical numbers to get there, of course.
When I saw a post on livejournal about National Coming Out Day, I realized that even here in my sex-positive, queerluscious, kinktastic office, we hadn't talked about the fact that today was... If you're a bank or a school, today is Columbus Day, which celebrates the day hundreds of years ago when Christopher Columbus came across the American continent thinking it was India. For the rest... by Simon Sheppard, October 11th, 2010 http://carnalnation.com/

Feminisnt > A Meddlesome Hussy Takes On the Enemies of Sexual Sa

share share The other week, I was having an email exchange with a friend about our shared annoyance with "strong" feminists who, if the slightest conflict surfaces, or the smallest perceived act of "sexism" is discovered, act like embarrassing crybabies and demand that women be handled with kid gloves because women are oh-so-fragile. It just struck me that this issue is perfectly reflected in an exchange from Heathers. The lead character in this dark comedy, played by Winona Ryder, is having a precocious speech at her parents about how teenagers deserve respect. To her mother: "All we want is to be treated like human beings, not experimented on like guinea pigs, or patronized like bunny rabbits." Mom responds: " Treated like human beings ? http://www.feminisnt.com/
