Quick Quorn Stir-fry–Recipe & Review | I’m not the first to tell you stir-fry is a fantastic quick meal. It’s filling and super simple. No set ingredient structure, no right way to cook, no time constraints. It’s the perfect meal. I’m in love with stir-fry just as much as the next person…maybe a bit more. My typical stir-fry is veggie filled with beans and legumes on occasions.

Most vegetarian/vegan meat replacements are filled with soy, gluten and or dairy. Finally my ingredient list curiosity got the better of me and I picked them up. Mycoprotein is the main ingredient in all Quorn products. I was excited and added them to my grocery cart waiting for the perfect recipe. One wok wonder! Serves 2 Ingredients 1 tablespoon sesame oil 2 cloves garlic, minced Half bag Quorn Chicken Tenders [optional] 1 bag frozen vegetables [I use the Thai mixed vegetables] 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 2 teaspoons honey 3 tablespoons soy sauce [I use Coconut Aminos] 1/3 cup vegetable broth 1 table spoon fresh basil, minced Cooked Rice Instructions. Easy tofu marinade. What you'll need . . . 2 tablespoons light sesame oil 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil 1/4 cup soy sauce (I used low sodium) 5 teaspoons balsamic vinegar 1-1/2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 2 tablespoons chopped scallions (I used garlic instead) 1-1/2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (I omitted this -- our garden is sparce at the moment) I also added 1-1/2 tablespoons of sesame seeds Method . . .

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and stir until the sugar is dissolved.Taste and adjust for sweetness if needed. Depending on the type of soy sauce you've used, you may need to add more sugar for balance. While I was preparing all of this, I pressed a block of tofu -- for about half an hour. How?
