We've got a downloadable lens calibration chart to make this easier. The lens calibration target is easy to set up and use with an LCD monitor. It's important to realise that any system of parts with individual tolerances can exhibit significant variance if the assorted 'errors' all stack up in one direction (they can just cancel out too). This is a key element of engineering design for manufacturing. Whilst expensive lenses and an expensive camera should 'just work' there may be room for improvement.

canon 500mm bag? - Canon Digital Photography Forums

If i have to trek a long way i use a lowepro trekker 600aw to carry my 500mm lens, i also put a pouch/pod strapped on to the side if i need to take either my 100-400 lens or 300mm f4 lens on one side and my 1548 gitzo strapped to the other side. the camera with a wide angle lens is usually round my neck. on the back outside is a small pouch to hold some extras and i do tend to carefully pack some things around the lens inside. it works well for me. if i'm walking short distances( anything up to about 7 miles ) i usually carry the 500mm lens on camera body but keep a showerproof/dust bag/jacket to slipover it if neccesary, and all other camera bits and spare camera+ lense in a tamarac 7 rucksack.

Peter Greggs ABBC ABetterBounceCard for Canon Flash Nikon Flash

The ABBC 3.0 Flash Diffusers are really very light weight adding less than 2 ounces to your camera gear's weight. Today that is very important as gear gets quite heavy to carry after a while. The ABBC is easy to store because it is so flat and light-weight taking very little space saving you valuable space in your bag for other accessories :) The new ABBC 3.0 surface comes in 3 sizes, a SMALL stealth diffuser, a LARGE all purpose diffuser, and a really big EXTRA-LARGE diffuser.

Installing DPP without original CD? - Photo.net Canon EOS Forum

http://photo.net/canon-eos-digital-camera-forum/00NtUC I have a 10D which I have owned since new and have lost the cd that came with it. I now wish to install DPP 3.2 and have downloaded it for my OSX machine, but it won't install without at least one of the original applications. Having had a quick look around the Canon website I can only find 'updaters' and no original installations - do you know if these are available online? I can't see any reason why they shouldn't be.
