Very good saddlebags My riding partner and I each bought these saddlebags in 1987 and have ridden over 100,000 miles with them. They are very spacious, which was necessary since we packed camping gear and food, as well as riding gear. I rated them a "4" on durability only because the zippers for the main compartment were undersized and wore out quickly. I took the bags to a seamstress who outfitted them with some heavy duty zippers that have functioned perfectly.
Hopefully, Chase Harper has made this upgrade since we bought our bags. Otherwise, these have been superb saddlebags. If I need new ones, I will definitely look at getting a new set of ET4000s... if the zippers have been improved.
