I see that you are offering more products I might find useful, including the Brass Flint Wheel Sparker and the Emergency Fire Starter Kit, which includes fire cubes. Answer I too have seen the degradation of triox fire cubes. What I am using consists of two cubes, comprised of highly compressed brown paper which has been infused with paraffin. Each cube can be broken into quarters.
