I'm 5'9" and 160 lbs. I bought the vest to use for solo long runs and ultras, because I don't like carrying handhelds, but I'm not a fan of using a hydration bladder either. The shoulder pockets are great for gels, and the electrolyte pockets are great as well (note: put the electrolyte capsules in a plastic baggy or vial, so your sweat doesn't begin to degrade them).
