Flood relief grant program rebuilds community gardens damaged by Irene

Gardens in Chester, Hardwick, Montpelier, Quechee, White River Junction, and Woodstock will receive up to $1,000 each to help rebuild or relocate secure food production sites.

It was created and donated by local resident artist Carla Rumrill. On February 24, Carla called Carrie King, CCGG representative, saying she had painted a new sign for the Grateful Garden and would it be okay to hang it up.
