John Melody
Editor, writer, producer of print and web communications I grew up on Cape Cod and have fond memories of road trips down 6A and nature walks and house parties and romance and skinny dipping on gorgeous summer nights, and fireflies and sweet, warm Cape air. I spent the summer of my 19th birthday studying French at the University of Dijon in France, and lived on campus with kids from 35 countries. I can still get by in Paris pretty well. Then I moved to Boston and worked as an EMT-Paramedic for 12 years, mostly in and around Brookline. In Boston I finished a BA in English and also earned a Masters in Technical and Professional Writing. I tired of the bitter gray Boston winters and moved to Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco, where it is still and always will be, 1967. Over the years I've had the great good fortune to travel to Kuranda Australia, Belize; Chamonix, Dijon, and Paris France; Cozumel and Tijuana Mexico; Dublin and Galway Ireland, Geneva, Quebec City, Grand Cayman Island, Honduras, Kauai, London, Nassau, New Orleans, and Oahu. I now work as an editor and information designer. I own an old home near the center of a very old New England coastal town. I'm married to a wonderful woman and I have a beautiful little girl.
